Government Overreach

The town wants to make this tiny lot open to the public and the world for river access. We can do better than this!

The large parking lot and kayak launch and crossing will fundamentally change the quiet residential character of our neighborhood with its intrusive nature on such a narrow lot.  (less than 1/10 of an acre on the water)

 The kayak launch is so close to one home that you could look into the bedroom windows when you are on the launch. Also the parking lot would be in our front yards with a very distasteful design clear cutting  the entire 70 ft. width of the property.

Shouldn't we be spending $250,000. of taxpayer money on more important things like something for our school aged kids to utilize.
